Data saved! A while ago a client had a Blustream Music Vault – Vault 2i. The manufacturing company wanting $900 to fix it but couldn’t guarantee it would get fixed, she lost over 60 CD’s she had saved over the years. Luckily, it was an easy as pull the old drive out, moving the music to a new drive (for safety), and building a new system so she could stream her music again!

After a failure you don’t want to keep the same drive, disk, or USB drive. Once they fail, even just a power supply failing, it can actually cause more issues, you don’t know if something else was damaged when a failure happens, it’s always better to be safe, than loose data.
